Hope you are well, and you had a nice Canada Day weekend. Sorry for the late newsletter.. time just seems to slip away.
Our schools have shut down and the kids are on holidays, so the teachers have been dropping of their milk bag mats. Thanks to all the milk bag clubs and groups in our schools for making mats and caring about others in need.
Our milk bag mat donation has risen quite significantly over the month of June, but like I said, we had an influx of mats due to our schools passing in their mats. So far this year we have donated 3408 mats. Thank you.
I won’t be having a pick up your bags day this month. I have lots of boxes of bags, but will wait for you to contact me if you want boxes of bags so we will arrange a time that works for both of us to meet. If you are like me, I like weaving on hot summer days when I’m in the basement where it is cooler.
Remember, you can also pick up boxes of bags at Canadian Food for Children in Mississauga. Their hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM until noon. NO AFTERNOONS OR WEEKENDS.
