Chilling…

Hi Everyone,

I trust you are enjoying the summer and all is well. Mat making slows down at this time of year, but that doesn’t mean it comes to a complete halt. Many people are weaving or crocheting mats, and even one of our students  made a mat as she gathers volunteer hours before school starts in the fall. If there are any students out there looking for creative ways to get their hours, look no further. Contact me and I will help you get what you need to weave mats.

Our count so far for this year is 3740 mats. Thank you so much for your dedication to the work.

I won’t be having a specific day to pick up milk bags, but if you need some, let me know as I have lots in my garage. Please bring your mats and I will make sure they get to Canadian Food for Children so they can be sent  to people who need them. Also, there are boxes of bags at CFFC and you can pick them up there if it is more convenient for you. They are located at 1258 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Mississauga, and open Monday to Friday, 8 AM until noon; NO afternoons or weekends.

Hope to hear from you,

Angela
