Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well. June is a big month for increasing the mat count; teachers are cleaning up their classrooms and bringing their mats, church and community groups are slowing down for the summer months and people are doing outside activities. So far this year we have donated 3746 mats to people in need.
Brinks has once more volunteered to deliver mats from the Ottawa area to Canadian Food for Children in Mississauga. This past weekend, they picked up 120 mats and they have been or will be delivered to CFFC. Thank you Brinks for your continued support. I have plenty of boxes of bags in my garage and am happy to share them with you. I won’t be having a specific bag pick up day, so just let me know if you would like some boxes of bags and we can arrange a time for you to get what you need. Again, as always, Canadian Food for Children at 1258 Lakeshore Rd. E. has bags and you can get them there as well. Remember, they are only open Monday to Friday from 8 AM until noon. No weekends or afternoons.
