Our donations of milk bag mats continues as we try to help others who are in need of a soft mat to sleep on. So far this year we have donated 965 mats to people around the world. Way to go!! Thank you.
I am pleased to tell you that I will be getting a delivery of boxes of bags next Wednesday, April 9th. If anyone needs boxes, please contact me so I can give you your bags.
Remember our weaving friends in Zimbabwe? I received an email with their news and I’m pleased to tell you that they are still weaving mats.
The lady who sends me these emails is from Burlington; she travels to Zimbabwe at least once a year to be with the people there. Her latest email was just a few weeks ago and it said… “I spoke with some of the recipients of the frames and mats. One of them told me he makes around $60 a month making door mats and that is how he can educate his kids. Another lady makes bigger mats and makes around $150 a month. They have other small business, but this gives them the most revenue.”

I find it encouraging to get news from this group of people who are doing their best to support their family. There seems to be a big need to cover their chairs and couches. As long as there is transport and the need for milk bags, I will send boxes of bags to the people in Zimbabwe.
This is all my news for this month. Hopefully, we will soon get sunshine and warmer temperatures and we can enjoy the outdoors,
