Spring is on the way, keep weaving!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well.

The milk bag project keeps on growing and for this I am thankful as we are here to help people in need. Welcome Dianna, who is starting a new team in Sudbury, Ontario.

Our mat count for this year keeps going up and I’m happy to report that we have donated 1855 mats since January. Way to go!!

I once again have a full garage of milk bags as I received a shipment of them a couple weeks ago. I’ll be having a “Pick up your Bags day” this month on SATURDAY, MARCH 9TH. I will be home waiting for you to come to get your supply of bags so you can keep weaving. Remember, there are also boxes of bags at Canadian Food for Children at 1258 Lakeshore R. East in Mississauga. They are open Monday to Friday from 8 AM until noon, NO afternoons or weekends.

I have a few new pictures for your enjoyment. Have a look at this very creative mat made by one of our team. Impressive.

The next picture is of 2 sisters, Nellie and Marg, who weave at the Alymer Christian Reformed Church. These ladies are part of a group that meets weekly to make mats and socialize with friends.

Thank you for all your work and dedication to this project. You are all inspirational people with genuine goodness in your hearts.

Take care,

Angela
