What a beautiful start to the fall season – the weather has been lovely!
Our Milk Bag Project continues to grow thanks to the incredible support from our friends, families and community partners. So far this year, we’ve donated 3422 milk bag mats to people in need around the world. Thank you all for being a part of this meaningful effort.
I have a small request:
As you know, we are no longer getting the boxes of new REJECT bags from the manufacturer. ALL our milk bags are 100% donations from people who save them from their homes. Bettina and I have been receiving emails from individuals who have collected milk bags and are looking for somewhere to deliver them. If you are willing, contact us at info@milkbagsunlimited.ca with your address or general location. This will help us connect donors with weavers in their local area. If you are a church or community centre, we will put your address on our website as a place to drop off milk bags. If you are a single individual, we will NOT put your address on our website, instead, we will connect you with someone who has bags and you can make arrangements to meet up with them.
Also – donations available:
We have two large 7 – loop frames available for free
– One is at my home in Kleinburg, it is 76 inches long and 46.5 inches wide.. you can cut it down to make it smaller if you would like a smaller frame
– another is located at a school near Lawrence Avenue and Avenue Rd. The dimensions are likely about the same as my frame.
