Hi Everyone,
Happy Fall.. for me, this is the best time of the year. Not only is the season beautiful, but it is also the time when we can snuggle down, enjoy our crafts and continue our community service projects.
The milk bag mats keep coming, and so far this year we have sent 2298 mats to Canadian Food for Children, where they will be shipped along with their donations to people in need. What an amazing accomplishment!
Thank you so much for sharing your time, talents and gifts of service. Your dedication makes a real difference in the lives of people who are less fortunate, and I am so grateful for each one of you.
Right now, we are receiving milk bags from household donations. A big thank you to everyone who has been collecting and donating bags!
If you are one of our wonderful bag collectors, please remember that the bags should be clean and flat. This makes it much easier for our volunteers to cut and tie them into weaving strips.
Keep Weaving!!! There are so many people who are grateful to receive the mats and who truly need our help.
